New Passenger Cars Deployed by Ukrainian Railways on Routes from Kyiv and Dnipro to Uzhhorod.
Rolling Stock Upgrade at Ukrainian Railways
According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian Railways has introduced brand-new passenger cars on services connecting Dnipro and Kyiv with Uzhhorod, marking a significant upgrade to its fleet. Since the start of the year, 18 new passenger cars have entered service, enhancing travel quality for passengers.
Train No. 29/30 running between Kyiv and Uzhhorod now features new cars, while the remaining new cars have been assigned to route No. 4/3 linking Uzhhorod and Dnipro. A total of six new cars are already operating on the Kyiv–Uzhhorod–Dnipro corridor, delivering greater convenience and comfort during journeys.
Features of the New Cars
These passenger cars are manufactured in Ukraine. The trains are equipped with high-capacity rechargeable batteries. Among the amenities available to travelers are:
- Electrical outlets
- Fold-down tables for passengers on upper berths
- Call buttons to reach the conductor
- Modern lighting systems
Additionally, the restrooms include changing tables and child safety seats, making trips more family-friendly.
With these upgrades, Ukrainian Railways is improving passenger services by providing modern conditions for comfortable travel.
The rollout of new cars is part of Ukrainian Railways' strategy to modernize infrastructure and enhance customer service.
