According to inkorr.com: The Ukrainian U-20 national team played a match against the Paraguay team in the third round of the group stage of the World Championship taking place in Chile. Head coach Dmytro Mykhailenko changed six players in the starting lineup, as Hennadiy Synchuk was suspended.
Both teams played cautiously in the first half, creating almost no dangerous moments. However, after the break, the Ukrainians took the lead in the 46th minute. Paraguay equalized in the 69th minute, but the decisive goal was scored by Ponomarenko in the 80th minute, closing the match with a score of 2:1.

Currently, the Ukrainian team occupies the first place in their group and advances to the playoffs with the best indicators. In the 1/8 finals, their opponent will be the third team from another group.
