In previous matches, the Ukrainian team won against Moldova 7:0 but lost to Portugal 0:4. After the defeat by the Portuguese, the coach Ihor Moskvychov evaluated the game.

'I congratulate the Portugal team, but I also want to congratulate my team on a good game. We should have scored at least 2-3 goals. In the first half, we did not convert any good chances, and then they executed a quick counterattack and scored a goal just seconds before the end. This influenced the course of the match, but today the game pleased me more than in the match against Moldova,' emphasized Moskvychov.

Currently, the Ukraine U-19 team has the same number of points as Italy, so the result of this match will be decisive for determining the second semifinalist of the tournament from Group A.
