A strong fire broke out in Yekaterinburg at night.
On the night of August 13, a large-scale fire occurred in Russian Yekaterinburg. Witnesses heard explosions in different parts of the city. This was reported by Russian media.
According to eyewitnesses, an explosion occurred near Metallurgov Street in Yekaterinburg, after which the fire was visible from several kilometers away. Two garden houses and buildings with an area of 250 sq.m. burned down. There were no casualties, although there was a threat of the fire spreading to neighboring buildings.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established, but according to witnesses, a gas cylinder exploded there.
Earlier it was reported that the "NPO Automation" plant caught fire in Yekaterinburg. This enterprise is engaged in the production of electronics for rockets.
