The government has changed the conscription rules: 100% of employees in critical enterprises are protected.
According to inkorr.com: The government of Ukraine has made important changes to the conscription rules for those liable for military service. Now critically important enterprises in frontline areas and the defense sector can take advantage of this opportunity. 100% of conscripted employees of such organizations will be able to receive conscription exemption, and the relevant authority will determine the list of areas where this is possible.
Economic advantages
According to estimates from the Ministry of Economy, these changes could save more than 2 billion hryvnias annually by preserving production capacities and ensuring stable tax revenues. The conscription process remains the same and occurs through the Diya portal, but now enterprises can independently formulate lists for conscription exemption.
Positive impact on stability
These innovations will contribute to maintaining stability and the uninterrupted operation of enterprises in the conflict zone, preserving jobs, and strengthening the country’s defense capability.
Changes in the conscription rules for those liable for military service reflect the government's commitment to supporting the critical sector of the economy in the context of conflict. Strengthening the economic foundations and defense capability plays a key role in stabilizing the situation in the country.
