German government confirmed postponement of 'Ramstein' meeting.

The meeting in Ramstein with leaders of the UK, USA, France, and Germany was canceled due to bad weather in the USA
The "Ramstein" format meeting and the meeting of leaders of the UK, USA, France, and Germany, scheduled for October 12, will not take place. This was confirmed by the spokesperson of the Federal Government of Germany, Steffen Hebestreit, at a briefing on Wednesday.
"The visit (of the American president) will not take place, but along with this, all formats associated with it are also canceled. Thus, the meeting at Ramstein at the level of heads of state and government will not take place, nor will the meeting of the British Prime Minister, the French President, and the German Chancellor, including the virtual participation of the American President," Hebestreit said.
The reason for the cancellation of US President Joe Biden’s visit to Germany was a serious situation in his country, related to the approach of hurricane "Milton". Hebestreit added that Berlin has not received any "negative reaction" or disappointment from Kyiv regarding the disruption of plans.
German Ministry of Defense spokesperson Michael Stempfle stated that Berlin hopes that the "Ramstein" format meeting, at least with the participation of heads of defense departments, will still take place in October.
The press service of the "Ramstein" Air Base in Germany confirmed that the meeting was postponed, noting that the key factor was the change in plans of the US President due to bad weather in the United States.
A new date for the meeting is to be announced later. It is not yet known whether the meeting at the leadership level, as planned this week, will take place in the future.
