The government of Ukraine has changed the Procedure for investigating and accounting for accidents at work during martial law. According to the new regulations, employers can hold commission meetings remotely using video conferencing and report accidents within one day, rather than two hours as before.

The possibility of electronic signature of protocols has been introduced, along with a flexible approach to informing commission members. A meeting is considered official if the majority of commission members are present, and the participation of the chair is mandatory.

A fundamentally important innovation has been the possibility of electronically signing protocols and a more flexible approach to informing commission members. A meeting is considered legitimate with the presence of the majority of commission members and the mandatory participation of the chair.

It is also provided for a temporary suspension of the investigation in case of threat to the life and health of commission members. These changes simplify administrative procedures and ensure effective accounting of accidents during martial law.

The new rules also apply to cases of employee injuries during hostilities.
