The government allocated 1 billion hryvnias to communities: what projects the funds will go to.
According to inkorr.com: The Government of Ukraine has decided to allocate 1 billion hryvnias for infrastructure restoration. This subsidy from the state budget is aimed at supporting local communities. According to the Ministry of Community Development and Territories, this funding will allow for the financing of an additional 39 projects under the Ukraine Recovery Program III.
Financing 107 projects from the state budget
In 2025, the state budget plans to allocate 1 billion hryvnias to finance similar initiatives. Previously, these funds were distributed for the implementation of 68 projects, and due to recent changes, a total of 107 projects in various regions of the country will receive funding.
The projects cover important areas of restoration:
installation of cogeneration units;modernization of water supply and sewage systems;reconstruction of medical institutions;construction of housing for internally displaced persons.
The Ukraine Recovery Program III is being implemented in partnership with the European Investment Bank (EIB). An agreement to attract 100 million euros was signed and ratified in 2024. The funds are provided to communities as a non-repayable subsidy from the state budget.
In total, 130 projects worth approximately 4.7 billion hryvnias have been approved for implementation under the program. All projects were submitted by communities via the DREAM digital platform, which ensured their transparent prioritization.
The government allocated 1 billion hryvnias for infrastructure restoration, enabling communities to attract funding for the implementation of over 100 projects in various areas. This will contribute to improving the living conditions of residents and the development of the country as a whole.
This initiative has become an important step towards restoring damaged infrastructure and supporting local communities in Ukraine.
