The government to introduce monthly assistance for electricity for families in combat zones.
Assistance for families in combat zones
According to inkorr.com: The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has made a decision to provide additional support for families living in combat zones. Starting from October this year, they will be able to receive monthly assistance for electricity payments, ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply. Payments will be provided to families already receiving housing subsidies or benefits. Each individual will receive compensation for 100 kWh of electricity, and in total, a family can receive no more than 300 kWh.
Evacuation support
Additionally, it is planned to allocate extra funds to support the evacuation of people from dangerous regions. This program will be financed from the state budget and will remain in effect as long as families are leaving hazardous areas. Payments may only be suspended in the event of loss of eligibility for benefits or subsidies, destruction of housing, or change in the status of the territory. Payments may also be terminated for those who need urgent identification in the Pension Fund.
These steps are part of the government’s efforts to support the population that has found itself in difficult conditions due to military conflicts. Ensuring electricity supply and supporting evacuation are crucial for preserving the lives and well-being of people in combat zones. The government continues to seek ways to assist those facing the greatest difficulties in this challenging time.
