According to inkorr.com: The government of Ukraine has made the decision to launch the Unified Register of Qualifications - a new electronic platform that gathers information regarding qualifications, professional standards, and other important aspects. This was reported by the press service of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

Legislative changes

In May 2025, the Law 'On Improving the National Qualification System' came into effect, which foresees the unification of existing classifiers and directories to create a new register. This innovation aims to accelerate the development of the qualification system, assist in the development of professional standards, and improve information about qualifications in the labor market.

Granting the National Agency for Qualifications powers to create and maintain the Unified Register will contribute to more effective performance of tasks in the field of qualifications, in line with labor market needs.

Plans for the future

The launch of the new Unified Register of Qualifications is planned for May 2026. This will undoubtedly contribute to better coordination and information interaction in the field of qualifications in Ukraine.

Thus, the creation of the Unified Register of Qualifications will be an important step in modernizing the education and labor system in Ukraine. The update of the information database will improve the alignment of knowledge and skills of the population with the needs of the modern labor market, which is extremely important in the context of dynamic changes in the economy.
