Restoration of Electricity Supply in Chornomorsk
In Chornomorsk, located in the Odesa region, the restoration of electricity supply continues after the night shelling by Russian troops on August 31. This was reported by the city mayor Vasyl Huliaiev while discussing the situation in the city.
As a result of the drone attack, important infrastructure was damaged. Currently, fuel, food, and water are available, prices remain stable, and there is no shortage. Internet and mobile communication are functioning without interruptions.
'As for electricity consumption, after the large-scale night attack on energy infrastructure, repair works are actively underway. 15 crews are working around the clock on restoration, with 18 units of equipment involved. During the day, it was possible to restore electricity to more than 2500 subscribers, but the damage is significant, so the restoration process requires some time,' reported the mayor of Chornomorsk.
At the same time, military-political analyst Dmytro Snihiriev drew attention to the parallels between Putin's actions and Hitler's tactics, noting that strikes are made on residential areas to force the city into territorial concessions and surrender.
This situation in Chornomorsk raises concerns not only due to the shelling but also because of the importance of energy infrastructure for the population's livelihood. The restoration of electricity and stability in the city are currently priority tasks requiring efforts from local authorities and energy workers. The overall situation in the country remains tense, highlighting the importance of supporting community resilience.
