A day of mourning has been declared in the Odessa region.
Tomorrow, November 19, a day of mourning will be held in the city of Odessa due to the deaths resulting from a missile strike. This was reported by the head of the Odessa Regional State Administration, Oleg Kiper.

Among the dead from the ballistic strike by the Russian Federation on Odessa were seven police officers, a medic, and two local residents.
On November 14, 2024, Odessa was attacked by Russian missiles and drones. As a result of the attack, nine apartment buildings, educational institutions, a car service station, a church, shopping centers, a heat supply pipeline, private garages, and more than 40 vehicles were damaged.
An architectural monument - the family clinic on Pasteur Street - was also damaged. Windows, doors, ceilings, roof beams, and walls were damaged, and furniture was broken. In total, about 20 buildings were damaged, including educational institutions, historical architecture, and a church.
'A UNESCO representative in Ukraine held talks with representatives of the Odessa municipality on Friday afternoon, and on Saturday, an expert mission from the Organization went to the scene to help assess the damage and prepare to ensure the safety of buildings,' the organization adds.

On November 18, the Russians shelled Odessa again. As a result of the missile strike, 10 civilians were killed. The number of injured in Odessa has risen to 47 people, including four children.
