Mandatory evacuation of children in Zaporizhia: who and where they are being relocated.
According to ТСН: Mandatory evacuation of children from five settlements in Zaporizhia region is starting in Ukraine. This decision concerns 40 children from 26 families, who will be relocated to Cherkasy region along with their parents or legal guardians.
This was reported by the Vice Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and Minister of Community and Territorial Development Oleksii Kuleba.
'Mandatory evacuation is always a difficult step. But in the conditions of constant shelling, it is the only responsible way to save lives, especially of children.'
Unity of actions between the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, local authorities, and involved services will ensure a safe route and comprehensive support for families at all stages of evacuation.
Earlier, it was reported that more than 600 children remain under constant shelling in the village of Kushuhum in Zaporizhia. With the increase of attacks by FPV drones and the expansion of the 'gray zone', mandatory evacuation of families with minors has been announced here since January 2. Police and volunteers carry out daily trips, evacuating people amidst the sounds of drone detectors.
Mandatory evacuation of families with children from certain settlements in the Dubovikov territorial community of the Synelnykove district has also been announced in Dnipropetrovsk region due to safety threats.
In these difficult times, the safety of children becomes a priority for the authorities. Evacuation is an important step aimed at protecting the most vulnerable members of society from the dangers arising from armed conflict. Joint efforts of various authorities help to ensure maximum support for families in difficult situations.
