Ukrainian President to Attend NATO Defense Contact Group Session
According to UATV: President Volodymyr Zelensky is set to participate in the Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting, known as the Ramstein format, scheduled for June 18, 2023, at NATO headquarters in Brussels. This high-level gathering focuses on coordinating military aid and strategic support for Ukraine amid the ongoing war.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte confirmed that the session will assess the current state of the conflict.
“We will hold a meeting on Ukraine’s defense needs, and President Zelensky will join us later today. This is a significant moment,” Rutte stated.He also noted that Ukraine is 'performing well' in its military operations.
Russia’s Military Faces Heavy Losses
According to available data, the Russian army is suffering severe casualties, estimated at 30,000 to 35,000 personnel per month. These figures highlight the mounting challenges Moscow faces on the battlefield.
