Odesa Port Allocates UAH 540 Million for Reconstruction of the Pier: Tender Details.

The Odesa Sea Port plans to conduct reconstruction of pier No. 7. The allocated funds for the repair works amount to approximately 540 million hryvnias, and the acceptance of bids from contractors will last until August 28.
According to information from the Prozorro electronic procurement system, the repair works must be completed by December 31, 2027. Payment for the services rendered will be distributed over several stages, with an advance of up to 30% of the cost. The remaining funds will be paid after the signing of the acts of completed works.
What is planned as part of the repairs
As part of the procurement conditions, the contractor must install tubular piles under the crane rail and unloading platform, construct monolithic structures, mount fenders and wheel stops, lay railway tracks, and install a cathodic protection system. The arrangement of storm drainage, pouring of ballast to create a waterproof layer of the pier, and laying of the covering are also planned.
The plans for the reconstruction of pier No. 7 in the Odesa Sea Port reflect serious efforts to improve the port's infrastructure to ensure uninterrupted and safe operation in the future.
