A scandal took place in Russia around a military-patriotic camp for children called 'Country of Heroes'. According to reports, the counselors of this camp turned out to be former participants of the occupation who fought against Ukraine.
The parents of the camp participants were alarmed by social media posts about the behavioral rules established in this institution. In particular, posts claimed that the counselors brought with them a large baggage of military experience and demanded a certain attitude towards themselves.
The scandal began in 2025 when photographs of rules containing a list of prohibitions in the 'Country of Heroes' camp started to appear. Among these prohibitions were actions such as provoking, hiding hands, speaking in 'foreign languages', and others.
