New rules for drivers will come into effect in Ukraine: what will change starting in February.
Starting from February 4, 2025, Ukrainian drivers must adhere to new rules announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This announcement appeared on the official Telegram channel of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The Ministry continues to expand electronic services for citizens to make them more accessible and convenient. Testing of the updated version of the e-registration began on January 14 at 52 service centers of the Ministry, and it is already operational in Brovary.
'We continue to work on improving the preliminary registration for obtaining services in order to prevent external interference in the system,' representatives of the Ministry reported.
From February 4, 2025, an updated test online registration will be introduced for all available services.
The Ministry is implementing a phased approach to ensure continuous service for citizens. In centers where testing is conducted, a new system will be launched, while in other service centers, the previous version of electronic registration will continue to function to avoid interrupting service provision.
Registration for obtaining services is conducted:
- for services until February 1 - in the previous version of e-registration;
- for services after February 4 - in the new e-registration system.
We remind that new fines are in effect for Ukrainian drivers.
