Prices of popular vegetables in Ukraine have increased.
Most vegetables in the Ukrainian market have increased in price over the week. According to East Fruit, the wholesale price of onions ranges from 13 to 17 hryvnias per kilogram, while at the beginning of the week, the price fluctuated between 10 and 15 hryvnias per kilogram. Prices for white cabbage have also increased - the lower price limit has risen from 20 to 24 hryvnias. Also, the prices for potatoes fall within a narrower range - the lower limit has increased from 20 to 23 hryvnias per kilogram, while the upper limit has decreased from 28 to 25 hryvnias per kilogram.
The reduction in the supply of local tomatoes during the season has led to a price increase - the upper price limit has risen from 85 to 90 hryvnias per kilogram. This has also caused a sharp rise in the price of sweet peppers - the cost has increased from 50-70 to 100-110 hryvnias per kilogram.
At the same Time, the price of carrots in Ukraine has decreased from 20-23 hryvnias per kilogram to 18-22.
Popular fruits have also become more expensive - the minimum price for an apple has risen from 20 to 26 hryvnias per kilogram, while prices for pears have decreased from 75-85 hryvnias per kilogram to 60-80.
The price range for mandarins has widened - during the previous week, the citrus was sold for 80-105 hryvnias per kilogram, but last week the price fluctuated between 75 and 115 hryvnias. The price of bananas has decreased from 47-60 hryvnias per kilogram to 55-58. Prices for other products have remained at previous levels.
