Maximum unemployment benefits increased in Ukraine.
Starting from 2025, the State Employment Service has established new amounts for social payments and compensations. Now, the highest unemployment benefit will amount to 8000 hryvnias for Ukrainians, which will help them during their job search and professional retraining.
Special attention is given to supporting the employment of people with disabilities.
Employers will be able to receive compensation for equipping workplaces of up to 120,000 hryvnias for workers with disabilities of group I and up to 80,000 hryvnias for workers of group II.
According to the results for 2024, the employment program for people with disabilities showed significant results. In total, 2000 people with disabilities of groups I and II found jobs, and the total amount of compensation for employers amounted to 130 million hryvnias.
'Support in the form of unemployment benefits allows people to adapt to new conditions, undergo necessary training or retraining, which significantly increases their chances of employment,' the State Employment Service notes.
At the same time, the compensation system will encourage employers to create new jobs and adapt them for people with disabilities and veterans.
Let us remind you that Ukrainians will have the opportunity to receive vouchers for training: who and for which professions.
