The state enterprise 'Medical Procurements of Ukraine' purchased equipment for nuclear medicine centers
According to inkorr.com: According to the information from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the total cost of equipment for the arrangement of two nuclear medicine centers amounts to 370.9 million UAH excluding VAT, which is 31.5% less than the expected cost.
Funding for this procurement is provided with the support of the European Union through the Ukraine Facility instrument. The total amount of the contract including VAT reaches 445.05 million UAH.
'The procurement of equipment for the creation of nuclear medicine centers opens wider access to modern diagnostics for Ukrainians, as our country still significantly lags behind in this area.'
The delivery of equipment is planned no earlier than July 2027, as it takes more than a year to manufacture the cyclotron, which is the main element of the center.
The opening of new nuclear medicine centers will provide Ukrainian patients with more opportunities for the diagnosis and treatment of oncological diseases.
The state enterprise 'Medical Procurements of Ukraine' has taken an important step in improving the medical infrastructure of the country by purchasing modern equipment for new nuclear medicine centers.
