According to The Sun: The match between Valencia and Real Oviedo has been canceled due to heavy flooding that has affected Spain.

The team of Carlos Corberán planned to play the match at the Mestalla stadium TODAY.

In Valencia, as well as in some other regions, the situation has become critical: a red weather warning has been issued by AEMET (Spanish Meteorological Agency).

Along with Valencia, Tarragona and Castellón have also received warnings due to heavy rainfall.

The result of these weather conditions has been the cancellation of the La Liga match in Valencia.

The Royal Spanish Football Federation confirmed that the date of the match has been rescheduled.

'The referee of professional competitions decided to postpone the match between Valencia and Real Oviedo in the 7th round of the First Division due to the red warning issued by AEMET.'

'The match will take place tomorrow, September 30, 2025, at 20:00, if weather conditions allow.'

Now Valencia will face former Arsenal star Santi Cazorla TOMORROW at 20:00.

The club also announced that academy and women's team training has been temporarily suspended.

Fans have been informed that the club shops will remain closed due to weather conditions.

'La Liga notified the club of the decision made today by the referee of professional competitions of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) due to the red warning regarding flood risk issued by the Crisis Management Center of the Generalitat Valenciana.'

'In connection with this situation, Valencia CF suspended activities in the city of Paterna, where all training for the academy and women's team has been canceled, and the official shops at the Mestalla stadium and Colón, 50, remain closed.'

The Oviedo team also issued a statement urging fans to exercise caution.

'Real Oviedo supports this decision, always prioritizing the safety of all participants.'

'The club wants to send a message of caution to its fans, urging them to take extreme precautions and follow the instructions of the authorities.'

'We apologize for any inconvenience to Oviedo fans who came due to the match postponement.'

Valencia approaches the match with only two victories in the first six league matches.

The club currently sits 12th in the table and hopes for another victory against Oviedo, which is in 19th place.
