The dollar exchange rate may exceed 42 UAH in August: what experts say.
The official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar has been steadily maintained above the 42 UAH/USD mark for six months. However, changes are possible, as the euro weakened against the dollar at the end of July, which could lead to a currency appreciation as early as August 2025.
According to economic expert Daniil Monin, the dollar exchange rate in August will depend on investors' reactions to the US Federal Reserve's decisions regarding interest rates. Information from experts indicates a possible rise of the dollar to the mark of 42-42.50 UAH/USD if the positive trend continues.
