Ukrainians who keep savings in dollars or euros may face difficulties if they do not take into account the features of banknotes and currency exchange. News.LIVE reported which dollar and euro banknotes should be sold before 2025. Old dollars issued from 1996 to 2003 may be a problem for exchange due to the lack of modern security features. Some exchange offices require special conditions or additional payment. The National Bank of Ukraine confirmed that the exchange of such banknotes is not prohibited, but called on citizens not to remain silent about violations. It is advisable to sell dollars and euros as soon as possible while they are not damaged to avoid problems with settlements. Damaged currency may be rejected during exchange. It is best to act according to the requirements of regulators to avoid unpleasant situations in the future.
