You will need:

  • chicken breast — 1 kg;
  • onion — 70 g;
  • bell pepper — 70 g;
  • dill — 15 g;
  • parsley — 15 g;
  • garlic — 2 cloves;
  • black pepper — 0.5 tsp;
  • Italian herbs mix — 1 tsp;
  • khmeli-suneli — 1 tsp;
  • spicy pepper — to taste;
  • hard cheese — 300 g.

For the sauce:

  • cream — 150 g;
  • sour cream — 200 g;
  • egg — 1 pc;
  • flour — 1 tbsp;
  • salt — 1.5 tsp.

Cooking Method

Cut the chicken breast first into slices, then into medium cubes — so the meat is well felt in the finished dish. Dice the onion and bell pepper into medium-sized cubes. Finely chop the dill and parsley. Pass the garlic through a press. Mix all these ingredients in a deep bowl, add black pepper, the Italian herbs mix, khmeli-suneli, and spicy pepper to taste. Mix everything well.

For the sauce, combine the cream, sour cream, egg, flour, and salt. Mix until smooth — the mass should be delicate and without lumps. Pour the sauce into the bowl with the meat and vegetables, mix again thoroughly with your hands or a spoon.

Place the mixture in a baking dish, leveling the surface with a spoon. Cover with foil with a few holes for steam to escape. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for about 30 minutes. During this time, grate the hard cheese.
