Ukrainian musician, saxophonist, and composer Andrii Barmaliy (real surname - Martynenko) published a new selfie on social media. The young artist, who is often referred to in the creative community as the 'genius of the saxophone', posed in military uniform. This was reported by 'Glavkom' with reference to the musician's Instagram.

According to inkorr.com: Andrii Barmaliy briefly signed the publication: 'Wishing health'. He did not reveal details about his training. Within a few hours, the saxophonist's photo gathered thousands of likes, including from well-known representatives of the Ukrainian show business, such as singers Kola, Dorofeeva, director Alan Badoyev, stand-up comedian Anton Tymoshenko, and singers Wellboy and Vlad Darwin.

Andrii Barmaliy is known for his experimental music and performances that blend jazz, electronics, rock, and hip-hop. His style is called sensual electronic-expressive music, where technology intertwines with raw emotion.

In 2023, the artist presented his debut album 'autoportrack' and the music video 'I'm Okay'. Subsequently, there was a large-scale immersive act 'To Lia', which combined about two dozen compositions and many artists on stage. The musician actively supported international festivals and presented his own experimental programs. At 17, he performed with the group Ziferblat (representatives of Ukraine at Eurovision-2025) and worked on projects with Hyphen Dash, CHUBAREENE, 'Tonka', Otoy, and others. Together with Stas Korolov, a mobilized saxophonist, he recorded the track 'Air Alarm'.
