According to Espreso.tv: Ukrainian lawmaker Fedir Venislavsky has weighed in on the resignation of Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, emphasizing a clear separation of duties between the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defense. Fedorov stepped down on July 15, 2023, and the following day, Pavlo Yelizarov submitted his own resignation request. These developments were accompanied by a rally in Kyiv showing support for Fedorov.

Venislavsky, who serves on the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence, underscored that:
