A soldier from Odesa systematically committed psychological violence against his civilian wife. After threats of physical violence, the woman filed a lawsuit.

Details of the case
The military man from Odesa regularly insulted his civilian wife. However, the psychological pressure was not limited to profanity directed at the girl: he also threatened her with physical violence and shoved her. The frightened woman filed a lawsuit against the serviceman.
What the court decided
The soldier was found guilty under Article 126-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (domestic violence). However, the court released him from 2 years of imprisonment with a probation period of 1 year.

In Odesa, the soldier was found guilty of psychological violence against his wife. He will avoid prison but will receive a conditional sentence of 1 year.
