Pension, Subsidy and Sick Leave Payments: The PFU Explained What Ukrainians Need to Know.
The press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine reported that all social payments for January 2025 have already been made. The total amount of pension payments is 19.5 billion hryvnias. Pensioners will be able to choose one of two options to receive their pension - through Ukrposhta or through a bank. A total of 3.6 billion hryvnias will be paid through Ukrposhta, while 15.9 billion hryvnias will be paid through banks. In addition to pension payments, the state also provides housing subsidies and benefits totaling 5 million hryvnias. 1.485 million hryvnias were spent on insurance payments, including payments for sick leave certificates amounting to about 342 million hryvnias. Throughout January, the employees of the Pension Fund provided 235.6 thousand various services to citizens.
