Ukrainians will now have the opportunity to store all state payments on a new 'Diia.Card'. In the future, banks may even issue plastic cards for the convenience of clients.

What payments will be credited to the 'Diia.Card'

The Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine has reported that all state payments will be credited to the 'Diia.Card', including pensions, assistance for internally displaced persons, financial assistance, and other social benefits. Additionally, with this card, Ukrainians will be able to receive assistance for parents of future first-graders and take advantage of other social programs.

'When payment is made from a specific special account, the deduction of funds will occur through technical configuration based on a 4-digit merchant category code (MCC — Merchant Category Code)'

It is important to note that Ukrainians do not need to pay any additional fees to open a 'Diia.Card'. It is also worth noting that starting from July 1, an experimental project for payments of basic social assistance in the amount of 4,500 hryvnias will be operational until 2027. Additionally, some Ukrainians may receive financial assistance of up to 5,600 dollars.
