What is included in the defenders' monetary compensation
According to the legislation, the monetary compensation for military personnel includes basic and additional payments, as well as one-time benefits. In particular, salary, bonuses, and rewards for distinguished service.
Minimum payments in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
The minimum amount of monetary compensation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is 20,100 UAH. The amount of pay may vary depending on the position, length of service, and military rank.
Additional payments to the military
Additional payments are known under Cabinet Resolution No. 168. They are regulated depending on the nature of the tasks performed by the military. An important role is also assigned to 'accumulative' payments for special circumstances.
One-time payments to military personnel
Military personnel can receive benefits for recreation and solving social issues, as well as bonuses for achievements and completing important tasks in the army.
Improvement of monetary compensation
The proposal for a new draft law on reforming the salary calculation system for the military aims to consider the risks and conditions of service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine to enhance motivation and support for the country's defenders.
