According to Novyny.live: Vitaliy Kim, the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, is advocating for the establishment of a comprehensive ten-year National Program for mass housing construction and renovation in Ukraine. He emphasizes the program's critical importance for internally displaced persons, veterans, and the nation's overall economic recovery. This call comes as Ukraine faces a severe housing shortage exacerbated by the ongoing war.

Kim stressed that Ukraine requires a holistic strategy, not isolated lending schemes or temporary fixes.

"We don't need a separate lending program or temporary solutions, but a National Program for mass housing construction and renovation—with a minimum ten-year horizon, a clear financial model, and state guarantees for frontline regions," he asserted.

"For frontline regions, this is also a matter of survival. Both today and after the war ends," Kim noted.

Investment and Economic Development

In a related development, Denmark plans to invest 225 million euros in economic projects within the Mykolaiv region over the next three years. This substantial investment could significantly boost regional infrastructure development, including within the housing sector. Kim underscored the need for immediate action, stating:
