Witali Aleksandrovich Kim – Ukrainian entrepreneur and politician of Korean descent. Since November 25, 2020, he has been the governor of the Mykolaiv Oblast.

Place of Birth. Education. Born on March 13, 1981, in Mykolaiv. His father was a distinguished basketball coach and played for the USSR youth national team.

He graduated from Secondary School No. 2 in Mykolaiv and the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding with a degree in 'Business Administration'.

Career. Since 1998 he has been engaged in entrepreneurship. He was the managing partner of the Ushuaja club, which was associated with the construction business.

In 2003, he worked at the company 'Ukrpromressurs', which specialized in valuation and accounting services in the public sector.

From 2005 to 2011, he held leadership positions in several companies in Mykolaiv specializing in international investment activities.

In 2015 and 2016, he was involved in the organization and management of the analytical department of the Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

He headed 8 companies in Mykolaiv, which he transferred to partners in 2019. The management of three companies was passed to his wife Julia Kim.

Political Career. 2019 – During the presidential and parliamentary elections, he worked in the election headquarters of the Servant of the People party in Mykolaiv Oblast.

In 2020, he led the headquarters during the local elections and was also a candidate for the Mykolaiv City Council.

Since November 25, 2020, he has been the governor of Mykolaiv Oblast.
