Zelensky may meet with Trump: US discusses peace plan for Ukraine.

According to ТСН: US special representative Steve Witkoff and Donald Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner met in Paris with Putin's representative Kirill Dmitriev to discuss the American plan for resolving the conflict in Ukraine.

This meeting was the result of two days of negotiations between Witkoff and Kushner with Ukrainian and European officials, including President Volodymyr Zelensky, as well as the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, and Germany. The main issues discussed concerned security guarantees for Ukraine and potential territorial concessions in Donbas.

The French publication Le Monde reported that Dmitriev was spotted near the US embassy in Paris. The White House press service and Dmitriev's spokesperson did not comment on the situation. Putin has not yet shown any intentions to agree to or seriously consider the deal mentioned in the negotiations between the US and Ukraine.

Possible meeting between Zelensky and Trump

Ukrainian officials noted that there is a possibility that Zelensky will visit the US next week to meet with Trump and discuss the security guarantees agreement. Another option could be a meeting during the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Agreement on support for Ukraine

Recently, at the 'Coalition of Willing' summit in Paris, Macron, Starmer, and Zelensky signed a declaration of intent regarding the deployment of multinational forces after a ceasefire in Ukraine.

As part of these negotiations, the US provided guarantees of support for Ukraine in the event of a renewed attack by Russia.
