Ukraine Awaits a Call from the USA: A New Stage of Peace Negotiations is Ready to Start

According to ТСН: Kiev is waiting for an invitation from Washington for a new stage of peace negotiations. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha confirmed that the Ukrainian delegation is ready to travel to the United States as soon as a 'corresponding signal' arrives from American partners. The main goal of the upcoming trip is to coordinate further steps for ending the war.

The minister mentioned this during a press conference with his Czech counterpart in Kyiv.

'Ukraine advocates for maximum dynamism in the negotiation process… Both the president and the Ukrainian delegation are ready to depart for the USA to expedite a just peace for Ukraine,' he noted at the press conference.

Sybiha also pointed out that negotiations between the Ukrainian and American delegations had concluded in Paris. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky is awaiting a detailed report from the head of the delegation and its members regarding the progress in the talks.

'We indeed have progress along many fronts,' the minister emphasized.

He added that 'we now have an understanding of security guarantees.'

'If there is a corresponding signal from the American side, the Ukrainian side is ready to travel for further negotiations in the USA,' stated the Ukrainian Foreign Minister.

Moreover, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that a bilateral document on security guarantees for Ukraine from the USA is essentially ready, and the next step is its finalization at the highest level.

This information underscores Ukraine's active efforts towards achieving peace and stability in the region. Hopes for a positive outcome from negotiations with the USA may become an important step in implementing security guarantees for Ukraine, which are so necessary given the current situation in the country.
