Let us recall that on August 12, Alexander Syrsky was the first to confirm the presence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region and stated that Ukraine controls an area of 1,000 sq. km. The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky ordered the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and other officials to prepare a humanitarian plan for conducting operations in the Kursk region.
Meanwhile, during a meeting on the situation in the Kursk region, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, noticeably nervous, stated that everything is now clear to him: Ukraine allegedly invaded the Kursk region of Russia to improve its negotiating positions, but Moscow will not negotiate with Kyiv.
