Russia was preparing a massive strike on Kyiv: why the aviation did not take off at night.
According to ТСН: At night, Russia deployed its aviation but decided not to use it due to unfavorable weather conditions.
This was reported on air by the founder of the defense company First Contact and a combat veteran Valerii Borovyk.
“The enemy needs accurate strikes, and the weather conditions indeed hinder achieving this goal,” he explained.
The expert also noted that the current weather conditions significantly complicate the task of the Ukrainian air defense in shooting down enemy targets, while for Russia this is not such a significant limitation when launching their assets.
Recall that on the night of January 5, Russian troops carried out another attack on Kyiv. The fire that broke out as a result of hitting a private clinic in Obolon was extinguished. During further inspection of the premises, the body of a person was found.
This situation highlights the constant pressure that Russian troops exert on Ukrainian cities and the importance of the operational work of Ukrainian air defense to protect the civilian population. The weather conditions that delayed enemy attacks also demonstrate how seemingly insignificant factors influence the course of military actions.
