Drivers warned about possible problems at the border with Poland.
Road repairs on the Polish side of the Yagodyn-Dorohusk border
Starting Monday, August 5, major road repair works will be conducted on the road surface at the Yagodyn-Dorohusk border. This situation may lead to significant delays for drivers, especially truck drivers.
According to RMF24, the repair works will last until November 14 of this year. Border guards have already recorded a queue of about 300 trucks, and the expected waiting time to cross the border is 10-12 hours.
Polish border guards note that truck drivers should be prepared for traffic complications and longer waiting times to enter Poland. Additionally, carriers are advised to choose alternative border crossing points whenever possible.
Given the duration of the repair works and the existing queues, drivers are advised to plan their routes in advance and consider other checkpoints for crossing the border between Ukraine and Poland.
