The enemy has intensified shelling in three border regions of Ukraine.
According to inkorr.com: Representatives of the State Border Guard Service reported an increase in the number of shellings in the Chernihiv region. Spokesman Andriy Demchenko noted that the attacks are ongoing not only in Chernihiv but also in Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
Increase in shellings
'Both in the Chernihiv and Sumy regions, as well as in Kharkiv, the shelling carried out by Russia on the territory of Ukraine does not stop. Even when comparing the last period, the number of shellings in the Chernihiv region has increased,' Demchenko said.
Demchenko also reported that the enemy is actively using aviation for strikes on the territories of Sumy and Kharkiv. In addition to attacks on Ukrainian military positions, targeted shelling of populated areas is taking place, negatively impacting the infrastructure.
Features of the enemy's attacks
'In Sumy, the enemy uses small infantry groups, however, the number of attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders has been lower than before. The enemy's actions are also unsuccessful in Kharkiv,' Demchenko added.
With the intensification of hostilities in Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv, it becomes clear that the conflict in eastern Ukraine continues, bringing suffering to the civilian population and threatening the security of the region.
