The enemy cannot advance everywhere with the same intensity: what's happening in the "hotspots".

Retired Lieutenant General Ihor Romanenko stated that Russian occupation forces cannot advance with the same intensity and in all directions. The enemy is still trying to seize Pokrovsk but is moving slowly, suffering heavy losses. Russian troops have already captured Vuhledar and are advancing north towards Kurakhove.

The enemy is also managing to advance in the Kupiansk direction in the Kharkiv region, splitting Ukrainian forces into southern and northern parts.

In the flank and rear of the Kupiansk grouping of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the enemy is attempting to enter through Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region. The fighting there is quite intense.

Russian troops have also managed to advance in the area of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk region, but their progress is insignificant.

The retired lieutenant general noted that Russian troops are not shying away from using equipment; on the contrary, their usage even increases. The heavy equipment of the Russians moves on tracks, which is different from Ukrainian equipment. The enemy actively uses artillery and tries to strike up to 80% of the targets. After artillery shelling, infantry groups intervene.
