Financial Support for Internally Displaced Persons in Ukraine

According to Novyny.live: In June 2026, internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Ukraine will receive monthly living allowances ranging from 2,000 to 3,000 hryvnias. This measure, formalized under Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 709, distributes payments in two cycles each month: by the 15th and by the 28th. Since June 28, 2026, falls on a Sunday, recipients should plan accordingly to access their funds.

Adult IDPs are entitled to 2,000 hryvnias per month, while families that include children or individuals with disabilities receive 3,000 hryvnias. These payments are designed to help cover basic living costs for those uprooted by the ongoing conflict.

How to Apply for Assistance

The financial support is available for up to 30 months from the date of registration. To receive new benefits, applicants must complete an online registration form by July 7, 2026. This initiative aims to ease the hardships faced by displaced Ukrainians and support their stability during a period of profound disruption.

This financial aid represents a critical step in assisting internally displaced persons, who often struggle with lost housing and unstable incomes.

Given the prolonged conflict in Ukraine, such programs help maintain social stability and improve the chances of successful adaptation for those forced to flee their homes. The July 7, 2026, registration deadline also underscores the importance of active participation by IDPs in processes that directly affect their lives.
