In spring, many Ukrainian farmers were forced to re-sow their fields due to harsh weather conditions — frosts, heavy rains, and hail. This has led to the fact that the wheat harvest will be the lowest in the last 10 years. This will affect product prices, particularly for wheat, which has already increased in price.Prices for products are preparing for an increase, especially for bread, or due to a decrease in the harvest of designated grain crops. Experts warn that the reduction of the harvest of wheat, corn, soybeans, and other crops may also affect exports. The domestic market will be secured, but prices for products may rise. The next summer promises to be demanding for Ukrainian farmers, who will have to battle nature to preserve their harvests.
