The Government of Ukraine has established consumer gas norms for different groups of the population.
According to government resolution No. 409, the following monthly gas consumption norms per person are set for households:
- 3.3 cubic meters - if there is a gas stove and centralized hot water supply;
- 5.4 cubic meters - if there is a gas stove but no centralized hot water supply and gas water heater;
- 10.5 cubic meters - when using a gas stove and gas water heater.
It was also established that for individual heating, gas consumption will be calculated at 4 cubic meters per 1 square meter of heated area per month during the heating period. This indicator may be adjusted depending on the region and type of building.
It is worth noting that Ukraine signed an agreement with the World Bank amounting to approximately 600 million dollars.
