The 'Man United' players played on PSP in the bus: how it annoyed Van der Sar.
The team's success thanks to PSP
According to The Sun: Wayne Rooney recalled the fun in the Manchester United bus, which, according to him, annoyed one of the club's legendary players.
Rooney, who joined United in 2004 and spent 13 successful years at Old Trafford, became the club's all-time top scorer, netting 253 goals in 559 appearances.

But Manchester United legend Edwin Van der Sar hated the noise PSP created in the busAction Images / Carl Recine LivepicThe legendary forward reminisced about his impressive career in a new episode of the 'Wayne Rooney' show, discussing methods that helped the team bond.
Players like Rio Ferdinand, Michael Carrick, John O'Shea, and Wes Brown actively played on the PlayStation Portable during trips.
They competed in the SOCOM game, playing five-on-five in the bus before and after matches.
But the noise from the game annoyed legendary goalkeeper Edwin Van der Sar so much that he tried to stay away from the loud teammates.
Rooney said: “Edwin Van der Sar usually got annoyed because we were in the bus, and there was just shouting where you were telling everyone where you are.”
“Sometimes, if there's only one player left, you communicate to attack him to take him out. Van der Sar tried to move as far away from us as possible!”
Rooney believes these were great team bonding exercises.

The Everton star emphasized that PSP games significantly improved their communication skills.
Rooney added: “I really believe a big part of our success was playing on PSP.”
“It made us communicate more – we played on the plane, on the team bus.”
“It was me, Rio, Michael Carrick, John O'Shea, Wes Brown. You had to communicate, act tactically right, lift your teammates when they're 'killed', and that was a huge part of our success – ask any of those players, it was brilliant.”
Thus, according to Rooney, playing PSP became not just entertainment for the players, but an important tool for enhancing team interaction, which directly impacted Manchester United's success at the time. It helped create a relaxed atmosphere within the team and fostered a spirit of friendship, ultimately reflecting on their game on the field.
