Worrying news about Roscoe

According to The Sun: Lewis Hamilton expressed bitter concern for his beloved dog Roscoe, who is in a coma. The seven-time Formula 1 world champion announced that his dog was diagnosed with pneumonia in April and is currently undergoing treatment.

Hamilton, 40, reported that Roscoe's condition worsened again due to pneumonia, and his heart stopped during treatment.

“Please keep Roscoe in your thoughts. I want you all to be informed,” Hamilton said.

“Roscoe was reinfected with pneumonia and struggled to breathe. He was hospitalized and sedated, during which his heart stopped.”

“They managed to restore his heartbeat, and now he is in a coma.”

Hamilton added:

“We don’t know if he will come out of this. Tomorrow we will try to wake him up. I am by his side and want to thank everyone for their prayers and support.”

This worrying news came just a day after Hamilton reached out to fans asking them to pray for Roscoe after 'terrible hours'.

Roscoe, Hamilton's beloved dog, is being cared for by trainer Kirstin Macmillan while his owner travels the world as a Formula 1 driver. The dog has always been a constant companion of the seven-time champion.

Roscoe even appeared in competitions with his owner and featured in the movie 'F1: The Movie', where his name is mentioned alongside stars like Brad Pitt. He also has over 1.3 million followers on Instagram.

Currently, Hamilton has not been able to secure a podium finish since his switch from Mercedes to this constructor earlier this year.

He will not participate in today's Formula 1 test event while the Ferrari team and their drivers are in Mugello, Italy, for the Pirelli tire test.

This situation highlights how important pets are to their owners, even for sports stars. Hamilton, who holds many professional titles, is deeply concerned about Roscoe's health as the dog has become an integral part of his life. We hope that Roscoe recovers and his owner returns to sporting success in Formula 1.
