M&S launched Christmas snacks: what new products are worth buying for the first time

According to The Sun: Although there are still a few months until Christmas, Marks & Spencer has already begun preparations for the holidays, presenting their new Christmas products.

This year, the assortment includes several novelties as well as favorite items from previous years that have returned to the store shelves.

I tried the Christmas assortment from M&S with new and already known treats Paul Edwards

I decided to test the novelties to find out what the assortment looks like this year.

Original mix of peanut butter and jam

  • 544g
  • £10
The original mix of peanut butter and jam will go right into my basket Paul Edwards

I really liked this new mix, as I am a big fan of its original and Easter versions.

Although peanut butter is not my favorite flavor, I enjoyed peanut candy and caramel nuts.

They had a bright taste but were not too overpowering.

Milk chocolate popcorn, white chocolate biscuits, and pretzels also added crunchiness.

This flavor has every chance of becoming popular this year.

Hot popcorn with maple syrup

  • 310g
  • £5
I also tried the new hot popcorn with maple syrup Paul Edwards

The hot popcorn with maple also made a strong impression on me.

Every piece of popcorn is coated with maple syrup and cayenne pepper, which gives it a spiciness.

This flavor combination is incredibly well-matched, which impressed me.

Hot maple syrup

  • 310g
  • £5
M&S

Unfortunately, the hot maple syrup did not leave the same impression.

The syrup poured poorly and was quite sharp, which made me question what to serve it with.

Gingerbread and white chocolate cookies

  • 360g
  • £3.25
The popular ginger and white chocolate cookies returned this year Paul Edwards

Notably, the favorite cookies with ginger and white chocolate have returned to the assortment.

They have the taste of gingerbread with tender pieces of white chocolate.

The soft texture makes them perfect for tea during afternoon breaks.

Peppermint bark

  • 250g
  • £10
Paul Edwards

Peppermint bark, which has returned for sale, is also eye-catching.

This delicacy consists of white and milk chocolate masses with pieces of mint candies.

When I opened the jar, I was surprised that the pieces needed to be broken by hand to enjoy these treats.

The flavor turned out to be bright, with a pronounced mint chocolate aftertaste.

Pistachio gnomes

  • 98g
  • £5
M&S has also launched chocolate gnomes stuffed with pistachio cream

These pistachio gnomes pleased me – they look just as delicious as they taste.

Each of them has a crispy chocolate shell, and the pistachio cream filling gives them a slight salty taste.

I believe this is the perfect dessert after a festive dinner.

Peppermint and double chocolate cookies

  • 180g
  • £3.65
Fans will love the peppermint and double chocolate cookies

These chocolate cookies are a festive version of the popular Dunkers.

Each contains pieces of peppermint and white chocolate, the addition of which makes the taste light and not overwhelming.

I can imagine how they will gain popularity during the festive season.

Mini-mermaids made of vanilla cookies

  • 100g
  • £1.65
M&S

These cute little trees made of whole grain cookies look simply magical.

Although they are brittle in flavor, I would like them to be a bit smaller so that they could be conveniently dipped in a cup of tea or coffee.

Maple and bacon flavor mix

  • 150g
  • £2.30
Paul Edwards M&S

These chips gave me positive emotions as they reminded me of shrimp-flavored chips.

Each chip combines the meaty flavor of bacon with the sweetness of maple.

The shape of the mix was also quite festive, so they will look great in a bowl at a holiday party.

Turkey flavored chips

  • 150g
M&S

These turkey flavored chips have a rich and festive taste.

Each chip is filled with spices, and the flavor of turkey gives them a slight sweetness.

They remind me of Sensations chips with chicken and thyme, but with a festive twist.

Funny jelly

  • 225g
  • £2
M&S

These jellies will help create a festive mood.

The sweets come in various shapes and flavors – from fruit to cola and milk.

Although I liked the flavor, the texture was somewhat tough and stuck to my teeth.

Passion fruit martini cocktail

  • 50cl
  • £20
Paul Edwards

As for drinks, I like Christmas cocktails, and this passion fruit cocktail turned out to be quite successful.

It tastes like a winter Aperol Spritz with a slight bitter orange aftertaste.

I can imagine people enjoying this drink on a cold winter night.

Chocolate and cherry liqueur

  • 50cl
  • £15
I did not like the cream liqueur, which turned out to be a little too rich for me M&S

I did not enjoy the chocolate and cherry liqueur as it was too rich for my taste.

Initially, it had a smooth texture, but the cherry aroma was too pronounced.

Tiramisu liqueur

  • 50cl
  • £15
I also did not rate the tiramisu liqueur, which turned out to be equally strong with its spicy flavor M&S

Similarly, the tiramisu liqueur had a strong taste that left an unpleasant aftertaste.

I'm not sure if I'll find the desire to buy it this festive season.

Pecan blondies with sweet caramel

  • 185g
  • £5
The blondies with marmalade and caramel syrup will definitely cause debates among fans Paul Edwards

They say about Marmite – you either love it or hate it, but it is worth noting that fans will find it hard to love these caramel blondies.

They had a tasty moist texture, however, the base with marmalade and nuts turned out to be coarse.

These blondies might spark debates, but I'm not sure if this will be positive feedback.

Caramel sauce with marmalade

  • 310g
  • £3
I did not like the caramel sauce with marmalade as it turned out to be overly strong

The caramel sauce with marmalade also left me in thought.

M&S describes it as 'not for the faint-hearted,' and I completely agree with this.

The taste turned out to be too rich and seemed to be simultaneously sweet and bitter.

This reminded me of when kids mix flavors that do not combine.

I would not buy this sauce again.

Marks & Spencer once again impressed us this year with their Christmas assortment, bringing back both old favorites and new products that are sure to delight fans. Among the offered treats, there are both sweets and snacks that will perfectly fit into the atmosphere of festive evenings. It remains to hope that the selected products will please customers and bring joy in the New Year holidays.
