Return of ECONOMICS to the Racetrack

According to The Sun: The horses of the ECONOMICS team are gearing up to return to the racetrack on Saturday morning with galloping at the new market.

This horse, which has had problems due to injuries, has not been on the track for almost a year but is now ready to appear at a specific stage before the race.

Trainer's Frustrations

William Hegas, the horse's trainer, notes that the last year has been a real challenge for him as he tries to bring his charge into championship races in two weeks.

The four-year-old horse was initially scheduled for the Prince Of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot but suffered an injury before the start and has been trying to get back in shape since then.

Intensive Training

Hegas is now facing turbulent events as he must prepare the horse in time for the championship races on October 18, where the odds for ECONOMICS are estimated at 16 to 1.

Hegas said: 'He will work at the new market about half an hour before the first race. The goal of the gallop is to bring him back into an environment with people and increase the adrenaline levels.'
'It will be a light workout with a leading horse, no serious training, but we want to get him back into some rhythm as he hasn't participated in a race for almost a year.'
'It would be great if we could achieve that. I will not push him, but time is passing.'
'He got injured two weeks before Royal Ascot, which complicated the situation for us a lot. I'm not speaking anymore about the level of confidence in his comeback – what happens, happens.'
'The best part is that if he stays in shape, he can return as a five-year-old.'

A Look into the Future

Initially, Hegas plans to enter More Thunder at the Prix de la Foret this weekend.

The winner of the Hungerford Stakes will depart for Longchamp on Sunday, where serious competitors await him over the distance of seven furlongs.

Hegas added: 'He is in very good shape. I am impressed by his steady progress this year, and he was brilliant in Newbury.'
'If the pace is good, I hope he shows an excellent result.'

The return of ECONOMICS to the racetrack is a milestone for the team, as it is a professional horse with great potential opportunities. Hegas's training sessions and plans show that the team is optimistic and hopes for successful performances in the near future. At the same time, the return of More Thunder to the international stage also highlights the team's ambitions for high results in racing.
