According to inkorr.com: A new program of medical examinations for people over the age of 40 will start in Ukraine. The main goal of this initiative is the early detection of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, and mental disorders.
'Cardiovascular diseases rank first in all countries of the world as the main cause of mortality, including premature causes of death. We... are doing certain things for the early detection of diseases so that there is an opportunity to prevent them,' explained Health Minister Viktor Liashko.
Participants in the program will be able to undergo a medical examination and receive free medications if needed. The program will start on January 1, 2026, and details about participation will be available through the 'Diia' app.
The medical examination program is an important step towards improving the health of the middle-aged population.
