Ukrainian Drones Now Control the European Part of the Russian Federation: What It Means

According to FREEДOM: On the Sumy front, Russian occupiers are using drones that scatter anti-personnel mines. This complicates the fight against them. Additionally, the Russians have begun equipping their 'Orlans' with small FPV drones. However, Ukraine has means to counter these enemy defeat tools. This was revealed by military-political analyst Dmytro Snehiriev on the Freedom TV channel.

'Indeed, the air defense forces of the 118th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) recently destroyed an FPV drone carrier for the first time. Ukraine can counter with, firstly, its missile program. The Ukrainian defense industry has already started mass production of defeat means with a range of about 3,000 km. For example, the new Ukrainian development, the 'Flamingo' missile, surpasses even the well-known American 'Tomahawk' missile in its tactical and technical characteristics. Because the warhead of the 'Tomahawk' is about 500 kg, while the 'Flamingo' is 1 ton. And soon the production of the Ukrainian missile will be scaled up,' said the military-political analyst.

According to him, there are also Ukrainian strike drones, with a defeat range of 2,000 km already.

'Just six months ago, we were happy that the defeat range of Ukrainian drones was about 1,000 km. Recently, drones from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (HUR MOU) struck oil refining enterprises in Ukhta, Russian Federation. And that is 2,000 km from the line of combat contact,' emphasized the guest of the show.

He pointed out that there has been significant modernization of the tactical and technical characteristics of Ukrainian drones in the past six months.

'Thanks to this, at the moment, Ukrainian drones control practically the entire European territory of the Russian Federation, where the main enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex are mainly located, including oil refineries (ORFs). And these are the main legitimate military targets on the territory of the Russian Federation. As a result of strikes on these targets, the Russian economy suffers. For example, in the Russian Federation, wholesale prices for 95 gasoline have risen by 50% after successful attacks by the Ukrainian side since the beginning of the year. The unprecedented decision of the government of the Russian Federation, a country that is a gas station, to prohibit the export of Russian gasoline and diesel is Ukraine's response to Russia's massive attacks on the civilian population of Ukraine,' concluded Dmytro Snehiriev.

Earlier, it was reported that the new Ukrainian unmanned aerial complex Volyniaka, introduced into operation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine in June, is already successfully hunting armored targets on the front. The bombing hexacopter is designed to destroy a wide range of enemy targets.

The easier accessibility of Ukrainian missiles and drones allows strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities and increasing influence on Russian territory. The modernization of Ukrainian military equipment provides an advantage in striking strategic objects in areas not close to the front line. The activation of the production of Ukrainian missiles and drones indicates Ukraine's intentions to continue strengthening its defense capabilities and demonstrates a response to threats from the Russian Federation.
