Legality of the operation of catering establishments during air alerts — OVA response.
Catering establishments in Odesa cannot accept visitors during air alerts. Currently, this requirement is mandatory by law. Such businesses must temporarily close their doors to people, and individuals cannot remain inside during alerts.
Measures during alerts
Administrations of establishments must adhere to these rules and ensure the safe evacuation of visitors to a safe distance or to civil protection facilities. It is also important to inform customers about the location of shelters and premises for protection from danger.
Protective premises must be equipped with water, first aid supplies, and hygiene means. They should be easily accessible and located according to the aforementioned distances from buildings. However, the law currently does not impose penalties for the absence of nearby shelters from danger for establishments.
'Currently, there is no ban on the operation of a club, restaurant, or café if they do not have a shelter within a radius of 50 meters,' the Odesa OVA clarified.
In the city of Odesa, there are about 1100 objects of the civil protection shelter fund that can accommodate about 550 thousand people.
This news describes the measures that catering establishments in Odesa need to follow during air alerts. It highlights the importance of community safety and the necessity to comply with legal requirements on this matter.
