Russian Military Operations in Zaporizhzhia Region

According to Novyny.live: On February 18, Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that Russian forces launched 638 strikes across 40 settlements in the region. This assault resulted in one civilian death and seven injuries. The Zaporizhzhia region remains a critical frontline area in southern Ukraine, heavily contested since the early stages of the full-scale invasion.

The breakdown of attacks included 22 airstrikes on 15 towns and villages, 448 assaults by unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) on 20 locations, 5 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems, and 163 artillery strikes on 12 settlements. One of the hardest-hit areas was the city of Zaporizhzhia itself, where a Russian attack on February 17 at approximately 8:45 PM killed a 48-year-old woman.

Artillery shelling was concentrated on Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, Staroukrainka, Zelene, Dobropillia, and Pryluky.
